West of Broadway is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theater company founded by children’s book author and playwright/director Diane Namm. West of Broadway’s mission is to promote literacy and social & civic responsibility through interactive theater for children of all ages.

West of Broadway has four core Literacy Programs:

1. Live stage productions of classics
2. Community outreach programming (e.g. You, the Jury ™ series courtroom dramas)
3. Writing workshops within the community
4. Stage readings of classic plays for low-income school districts
